Arbeitstitel des Spiels war Grid Runner, unter diesem Namen wurde es auf der Summer CES 1990 sowie auch auf der Winter CES 1991 auch angekündigt.
Das Spiel wurde trotz der Ankündigung nie durch Atari veröffentlicht. Erst 1999 brachte der Publisher Telegames das Spiel in einer limitierten Auflage auf den Markt.
